my rage that occurs on the road

Today I'd like to talk about something that many of you may have, but probably not nearly as bad as I do. Road Rage. Now, I can admit I have road rage, but I would never actually get out of my car to start a fight. There are several F-sharps that pass my lips when I'm driving and I often find myself calling other drivers several names, such as douchebag, old man, mofo, etc. Douchebag is probably my favourite...
Let me state here that I KNOW that they can't hear me, but it makes me feel better if I call them names or swear. Releases my stress, my seething rage and helps pass the time, I think. When I have the kids in the car (those who understand what I'm saying, not my 5 month old), I try my best to make it PG-13, calling them names like jerk, T.A.B., baldy (if bald), etc.

Example: When on my way to pick up a friend for lunch yesterday, I was driving down Broadway and no one was doing anything over 45! And several people who wanted to turn off of Broadway onto a street going left, would just sit in the left lane waiting to turn, instead of pulling into the middle boulevard thing, thus blocking several cars from going anywhere! I eventually got to St. James Street (oh, after stopping at nearly every single light on Broadway, thank you, Sam Katz.....) where everyone was going 40 kms/hr. Did I mention it's 60 on St. James? I found that there were several potholes in the right lane, but this didn't stop me from attempting to do the actual speed limit. It's not icy, it's not raining, it's not snowing, and despite the potholes, everyone should be doing the speed limit! I don't get it!!!!!!!

So, if any of you faithful readers have any suggestions to curb road rage, I'm listening. Do NOT suggest loud music, I've found that it makes me even more "road ragier", but actually makes me drive faster than I should.
Thanks all, and happy Saturday!
